Residential housing projects registered under RERA
Residential projects make up the largest segment of RERA registrations. These include apartments, villas, plotted developments, and group housing societies. Under RERA, promoters must deposit 70% of buyer funds into an escrow account, disclose project timelines, and file quarterly progress reports. When evaluating a residential project, pay close attention to the Delivery score (has the builder met past deadlines?), the Legal Risk dimension (any complaints from existing buyers?), and whether the project has an active Occupancy Certificate. Projects scoring below 50 on our trust index warrant extra due diligence before signing any agreement.
